What happens if I don't do my homework?

If a student does not complete a homework assignment, their name is sent to
their homeroom teacher with a note about which assignment they missed. If a
student missed two homework assignments in one day, they will need to serve
a thirty minute make up study hall on the following day.
(A notice will be sent home with the student that day so that parents are
aware of the study hall. The signed notice needs to be returned on the day
of the study hall) The homeroom teacher will keep track of the missing
homework students receive over the course of the year. If we need to meet
with parents to discuss the success of a child, the list of missing
assignments is a great way to track patterns.

How do I get my child's work if s/he is absent?

A homework sheet will automatically be sent around to collect assignments
for your child. If you would like your childs's homework to be sent to the
office for pick-up, please call the school and let the office know.
Otherwise, homework will be available on the day your child returns to
school.
