Mrs. Roberts grew up in Scituate, Massachusetts and attended the University
of NH. She has a B.A in English and a Masters of Arts and Teaching in
Secondary Education. She lives in Barrington, NH with her husband and her
cats.
Reading: Throughout the sixth grade year, students will:
develop an appreciation of the power and beauty of the written word.
gain strategies for reading comprehension and critical analysis.
increase their word power through vocabulary and spelling study.
read a variety of printed materials including short stories, poetry,
novels, plays, non-fiction, as well as web-based materials.
