The children are working hard with our Charlotte's Web lessons. We have been
reading the chapter book together and they are doing a great job. We have
been working on nouns and adjectives while reading the story. This is a
wonderful story for detail.
We have been talking a lot about Thanksgiving. We've written an acrostic poem
for our poetry book. Our writing project this week is about a gift from the
heart that we could give someone else.
In math we have been working on measurement and perimeter. The children have
been working in small group, building with straws and measuring their
creations. Through this we have been reading and talking about polygons and
parralellograms.
We have been reading our Veterans' Day poem and shared with the rest of the
school in our annual assembly.
