Dear Parents:
Because school was cancelled today, both Open House programs scheduled for
this week will be held on Thursday, 11/1. We will use the following
schedule:
6:00 – 6:45 Grades K-2
6:45 – 7:30 Grades 3-6
The Book Fair will open at 5:30 and will close at 8:00.
Due to parking limitations, parents of K-2 students are asked to come at 5:30
if they would like to shop at the book fair first. To make parking easier,
we ask that you can leave before 6:45 PM, thus making parking available for
parents of students in grades 3-6. Grades 3-6 can shop at the book fair
following their Open House until 8:00 PM. Custodians will be available to
help facilitate parking.
Halloween
We are still planning on having a Halloween celebration on Wednesday with a
parade at 1:00 PM. Students may still bring their costumes to school. The
current forecast is for rain in the afternoon. If it is raining, then we
will hold the parade inside the school. Parents are invited to go to the gym
where all students will parade. If the parade is held indoors, we ask that
parents do not gather in the hallways of the school. We will need all that
room for the students to parade so that they can see each other’s costumes.
Following the parade, parents are welcome to return to your child’s class to
continue the celebration. With everyone’s cooperation, we are going to have
a wonderful time!
