Mrs. Moulton grew up in Rhode Island and Farmington, New Hampshire.
She attended college at Plymouth State and graduated magna cum laude with a
Physical Education degree in 1973. She lives in Bow, N.H. with her husband
Ken and a Siberian Huskie named Uno. She has a daughter Jen, who is a
teacher at NBCS and a son Kristopher, who is a mechanical engineer. In her
spare time, Mrs. Moulton loves to hike, x-c ski, and skijor with Uno.
Mrs. Moulton taught at Kingswood Regional H.S., Merrimack Valley H.S., and
Barnstead Elementary School before coming to New Boston Central School in
1988. In 2002 Mrs. Moulton earned her Master's degree from Plymouth State
College and was selected as New Hampshire's Elementary Physical Education
Teacher of the Year in 2003. She is a long time member of American Alliance
and New Hampshire Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and
Dance (AAHPERD & NHAHPERD). Mrs. Moulton has served several years on the
NHAHPERD executive board and as president of the Association. She also presently
served on the New Hampshire Commission to Fight Childhood Obesity in 2008 and
2009. Mrs. Moulton was honored for her dedication and service in 2009 when she
received the New Hampshire Excellence in Education Award in Physical Education
at the EDies.
Mrs. Moulton co-sponsors the Hiking, Snowshoe, and Trail Maintenance
Clubs at NBCS with her daughter & fourth grade teacher, Miss Jen Moulton.
