I am passionate about music! Everything from Bach to the Beatles.
I received my Bachelor of Music Education with concentration in Voice and
Flute from Grove City College in PA. I was in marching band for 8 years and
can still be found in the stand at football games cheering...for the band of
course! I love musical theatre and enjoy being on stage as well as
choreographing. I currently live in Derry where I have two ferns named Zeke
and Caleb and I enjoy quilting in my limited amounts of free time.
The objective of this class is to familiarize the students with a wide
variety of musical art forms. Students will experience music as it relates
to other subjects and disciplines as well as their own lives. Over the
course of a year music will be listened to, analyzed, created, performed,
and evaluated. It is my sincere hope that this class will also foster a love
of music in each of the students and create a desire to continue learning
and experiencing music.
