This is my eighth year teaching at Pelham Elementary School.
Previously, I taught third grade at international schools in Germany,
Belgium, and Turkey, and at Solomon Schechter Day School in Newton, MA prior
to joining the fourth grade team. During my time abroad, I enjoyed teaching
students of culturally diverse backgrounds and fostering a positive English
language classroom environment. Before venturing abroad, I attended Lesley
University.
A naturally curious person, my favorite subject to teach is science, and
I love learning with my students through hands-on inquiry activities. I also
enjoy exploring poetry and playing with words. My summers are spent
outdoors, hiking in state parks and walking on the beach. I like to
stay active through yoga, walking, tennis, and fitness classes at my local
YMCA. Reading, whipping up new recipes in my kitchen, and watching action
movies are just a few of the ways I spend my spare time.
