My name is Miss Liston. I graduated from Wheaton College in 2000 with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. After graduating I worked in
book publishing for seven years. I returned to school to earn
my Masters Degree in Elementary Education and General Special Education from
Rivier College. During this time, I was an Instructional Assistant in
Lexington, MA, and I student taught in the second grade here at Pelham
Elementary. This year, I am thrilled to be entering my fourth year of
teaching fourth grade in Pelham!
I spend my free time reading, cooking, and enjoying outdoor activities such as
rock climbing, skiing, and hiking. I am looking forward to a great school
year!
My goal is to build a safe, nurturing learning environment where students are
motivated to live their dreams, and be successful. At the core of my
instructional philosophy is a curriculum that includes differentiated
instruction and hands-on activities.
