The 7th grade Study Skills class is learning how to use the SQ3R study
method, which was created by Francis Robinson. This method has been
used and scientifically tested for years. It is a highly recommended
study method, particularly for textbooks.
The letters stand for Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review. The
first 2 steps, Survey and Question, can be completed together. The
next 2 steps, Read and Recite, should also be completed at the same
time. The last step is done after the others are complete.
