Practice:

1) NEW Rest Stroke Warm Up (Use the Drum Machine!!)

2) Reading Music on the Staff:
- E - Spanish Bullfight
- F - One Note Blues

Also, Practice "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"- The WHOLE SONG, with the correct fingering!

What will you need in order to join guitar ensemble?

**YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN ACOUSTIC GUITAR**

When will the Guitar Ensemble meet?

Every Tuesday from 2:10pm to 3:30pm.

Who can come to the Guitar Ensemble?

Any student who OWNS AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR.

What will students be learning?

Students will learn will learn how to function in a group playing multiple parts at once. They will learn how to play melodies, accompaniments, and will spend time improvising. Students will also have the opportunity to perform at two concerts during the school year, possibly more if the opportunity arises.

The first meeting of this club will be announced in the near future.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO PURCHASE A GUITAR, I suggest you purchase a low-end (cheap), full sized, nylon string (classical) acoustic guitar.
