Greetings and Salutations! My name is Zachary Jagentenfl and I am the NEW
Chorus and General Music teacher here at Pelham Memorial School! I have been
making and performing music most of my life, and have turned my passion for
this art into a career. I earned my Bachelor degree from Ithaca College, where
I studied lots of Jazz Bass, Guitar, and Voice, and then earned my Masters of
Music from The Boston Conservatory, graduating in 2010. In addition to being a
teacher, I am also an active professional musician, and have performed in
various groups and various albums in the Boston and New England area since
2005. I also have a wonderful family comprised of my beautiful wife Amanda,
and our amazing, six month old daughter Maetta (May-etta). I love music from
all around the world and all from all periods of time. I will strive to help
my students learn about all types of music, and hopefully, foster a passion
for music for the rest of their lives!!
