Is homework important?

Absolutely, positively, YES!! The homework is practice for the quizzes.
Generally I use some of the homework problems on the quiz. So, if you do
the
homework and pay attention when we go over it, you will have an advantage on
the quiz.

'I hate math. Numbers are confusing. Can I still get a good grade in math?'

Of coarse. I'm not out to make every student a mathematician. Students who
receive an 'A' are the ones who do their homework, pay attention in class,
and try their best at all times.

Can I get extra help if I need it?

You sure can. The school offers a homework club for all students. I am
available for extra help during study period, before school and after
school. I need a written request by the parent at least 24 hours before an
after school session.
