I cannot believe that it is November already!  Before you know it the holidays will be upon us and we will be bringing in the new year. 

 

The students have been very busy tackling the new reading curriculum and studying their five senses.  We are now moving into the study of magnets and their properties.  There will be lots of fun activities and experiments centered around magnetism.  

 

As you are aware, there have been many children out sick lately.  I have been encouraging parents to allow their children plenty of time to recover before returning to school.  In the classroom, we have been diligently washing our desks and hands to try and prevent the spread of germs. 

 

I am looking forward to seeing everyone on conference day.  I will be sending home a reminder to everyone with your date and time.  We must keep the conference to 15 minutes so I may see everyone.  If you feel we need more time, we can schedule a separate appointment time.
