Mrs. Curtis graduated With Distinction from The Pennsylvania State University
with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She has also taken courses at Salisbury
State College (Maryland), Colorado State University, University of
Massachusets, Lowell, and University of New Hampshire.

Seventh grade science invites the student to take responsibility for
learning. Lecture, notes, reading, and writing activities are enhanced by
hands-on lab opportunities in small groups. Students are expected to apply
factual knowledge to analyze lab results and form conclusions.
Social studies is an exploration into the history of our world. Students are
challenged to apply the five themes of geography in their study of some of
the cultures which have contributed to western civilization.
