How can I contact the teachers?

The 7th grade planning time for teachers to make or take calls is
between 12:07 - 1:07. This is also the time that appointments can be 
scheduled. If I am unavailable due to a meeting, please leave a 
message with the office and I'll call you back as soon as possible

How often does my child have homework in Social Studies?

I usually give homework Monday thru Thursday. I very seldom will 
assign homework over a weekend.

How can I get the text book online?

To access the book on-line, you may go to my links site, or access 
the link below:

Hint: The password is difficult to remember, so I copy the password 
so I can paste it in the required place. User name: HH Password:

This will take you to a screen which lists many options. On the top 
right side of the screen it will read: 

For online book edition click here. 

After you: Click on the "click here" You will be taken to a screen
that will ask you to input your username and password. You will
NOT need to input anything else on this screen. 

Enter your user name and password to access your online student 
edition.

Submit             
        Reset

Click on Submit, and this will then take you to the textbook.

Why do some of the worksheets look different than the hard copy?

When a paper has been copied from Microsoft Word into this site, it 
sometimes will not copy the correct tabs. So please keep in mind, 
the format might not always look correct, but the actual information 
is the same.

How to get to the REMOTE STUDENT ACCESS TO SCHOOL

Remote Student
Access to School
	
This remote access allows students to connect with the PMS server.
Students can log on to their folders and use certain programs
from home as well as in school.
Simply click the URL below log on with student's name and school 
password.


1. To access programs click on the Desktop icon,then my computer,
click on the "S drive" Pelham Students, then click on the OUTBOX
folder, find Mrs. Gariepy's name and then click her folder. Inside 
you will see the programs available for you to use. 
2. To access student folders click on the Desktop icon, then my 
computer, click on the "Z drive" which is the individual student's 
folder. The work they've created or is a work in progress should be
available to work from home

Current Event requirements

CURRENT EVENTS ASSIGNMENT

By using various news sources: newspaper, computer, T.V., and/or 
radio, you
will be responsible to write a brief summary (approximately 2-5 
sentences) 
for each of the following items:

	PEOPLE – 3 different summarized articles
	PLACES – 3 different articles
	INTERNATIONAL – 3 different articles
      MISC. – 3 different articles

When done correctly you will have 12 separate news summaries to 
receive the
full 10 points credits.
