Dear Parents,
Well, the first marking period is over and I'll be meeting with all of you
real soon to discuss your child's report card. As you may already know, your
child will be receiving letter grades for the first time. I'll be sending out
reminder notices for the times that you signed up for. I have allotted 15
minutes for each conference. If we need more time than that, we can always
schedule another meeting.
Again, as you may already know, we had a tragedy in Pelham over the weekend.
Ten year old Christian, who attends a private school, was killed while out
Trick - or - Treating Saturday when a branch fell on him. Our thoughts and
prayers go out to his family and friends. If your child was a close friend of
his and you have some concerns about his/her emotions this week, please let me
know and I'll do my best to offer comfort and support.
Thank you so much for any of you who sent in food and supplies for our
Halloween Party on Friday. They were greatly appreciated. Everything was
great. The kids had a fun time!!
