A typical week:
Monday: Write spelling words 1 time each in alphabetical (abc) order.
Read weekly Reading Story with a family member.
Math paper - usually 2 sided with 1 side being extra credit (e.c.)
-every 5 extra credit papers earns your child a grade of 100 to
be averaged in with his/her other grades.
Tuesday: Write 6 quality sentences using any five spelling words and extra
vocabulary words.
Sentences should be 7 words or more long.
Reading Vocabulary review paper.
Math paper
Wednesday: Spelling review sheet
Reading Skill paper. Review weekly story for test.
Math paper.
Thursday: Spelling pretest, written or oral, with a family member.
If taken orally, please note that in Assignment Notebook.
Math paper.
Friday: No regular homework.
*** There will be study guides for tests, book reports, and other Science or
Social Studies projects assigned throughout the school year that will need to
be worked on over some weekends. ***
