Homework

      
     Typically, a fourth grader should spend 40 minutes to 1 hour on homework.
If at any time you feel your child is getting frustrated, just e-mail me and we
can make adjustments accordingly. 
Thanks for all your support at home!!

A typical week:

Monday:    Write spelling words 2 times each, a third time for extra credit
           (If you can't find your spelling list, go to the spelling list link
           to get another copy) 
           Read weekly Reading story with a family member
           Math

Tuesday:   Put weekly spelling words in alphabetical order
           Reading vocabulary review
           Math

Wednesday: Spelling review sheet
           Reading skill review and Review weekly reading story for next  
           day's reading test
           Math

Thursday:  Spelling pretest (written) with a family member returned to school
           Computer question to gather data for graphing activity on Friday
           Math

Friday:    No regular homework

***  There will be book reports and other Science or Social Studies projects 
assigned throughout the school year that will need to be worked on over some 
weekends.   ***
