December:

Well, I know I say this every month, but I can't believe how fast time is flying!!  I am sure this month will be over before we know it.  The students are already asking me if Santa will be visiting our classroom!!  They are already so excited, as I am sure you know.  We will be having a classroom Secret Santa/Book Swap and holiday celebration on December 23rd from 2-2:45.  A notice will be going home on Friday with all of the information and a sign up sheet for volunteers.  As we get closer to the holiday, I wil send home a reminder notice of the item you each signed up to donate for our party. 

Also, along with some other first grade classes, we will be viewing The Polar Express, date to be determined.  I will send home a letter about this.  I am going to try to keep it as a surprise until the day before.
