Hello,

      This is just a little reminder that if your children are out sick, please call the CARE line so that we know they are safe. We are here to make sure that your children stay healthy so that they can learn to their greatest potential. It is difficult to learn when there are other things going on in their lives, sickness, family issue or friend issues. If your child is sick in the morning please do not send them to school. Especially, at this time of year when the flu, both regular and H1N1 is around. Please let the school nurses know if your child has a fever over 100  accompanied by a cough, sore throat, body aches and stuffy nose.

If you have any questions or would like to talk with the nurse please feel free to call or stop by.

 

Another reminder with the cold season coming upon us, if your child will need cold medicine please do not send it in with them. If you send in a note then I can give them medication, students are not allowed to carry any medication around with them in school, it could be a potential health hazard.
