IMMUNIZATIONS FOR 2009-2010

 

Incoming 6th graders need a second chickenpox vaccination before the start of school. All students need a TdaP(tetanus/pertussis) booster if their last TD(tetanus) was more than 5 years ago. Letters were sent home at the end of the school year, again in September and again in October, to those students who I did not have updated immunization information for. These are new State of New Hampshire requirements as of July 1st. Please send in updated immunization information as soon as possible. Children can be excluded from school per the state if immunizations are not up to date and there is no record of this in the school.

 

Also, any student, in grades 7 & 8 who has not had a tetanus/pertussis booster within the last 5yrs needs another before entry into school this year. Documentation of a physician appoint will be ok. Letters were sent home to students in the report cards at the end of last year, September and in October. Any questions please call Mrs. Levine at 635-2748.
