This is my 32nd year teaching in the Pelham, New Hampshire school system. I
taught third grade for my first three years and the remaining years have
been in Readiness and first grade. I truly enjoy these young children and
am proud to be a part of their "Special" formative years.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lowell and have
completed many courses which have provided me an opportunity for continual
learning and growth.
My classroom is a caring, safe and stimulating environment where each child
can blossom and grow. I incorporate games and hands on activities in my
lessons to make the learning process more productive for each child at every
level. I allow children to become responsible members of our classroom and
become responsible for themselves as well. In doing so, I am giving my
students the tools to become successful in life, to believe and
trust themselves and to love who they are.
I strive to help my students reach their potential no matter what their
learning styles may be. I teach to the needs of the students so that each
child feels capable and successful. I continually tie learning into the
world community to help children become caring and active members of society.
