Education.  You can send them in to your child's homeroom.  Thanks!

As grades are entered into the Parent Portal I wanted to explain a few things.

1.  Each homework assignment counts for 5 points.  At this point I am giving 
partial credit for incomplete work, misunderstanding directions, left in 
locker etc.  As students transition to 6th grade, credit will be given only 
if homework is done completely.  I usually enter 5 homework grades at a time, 
thus a total of 25 points.  Your child's grade for those 5 assigments will be 
shown.  Example if two of 5 assignments are missing the grade will be 15 of 
25 or 60%.  This will show as a D- for that set of assignments.  All homework 
averaged together is 25% of the grade for the semester.

2.  Quiz and Test grades will be entered as they are completed.  I like to 
pass these back to students before I enter them into the system.
