I have a MEd and BS degree both from St. Lawrence University in upstate New
York. I majored in biology and minored in education and fine arts. I also
coached track and field at SLU for two years concentrating on multi event
athletes (sprints, jumps and hurdles) along with teaching exercise physiology
as an adjunct professor.
I have previously taught in Miami, Florida (7th grade science) but grew up in
northern New Hampshire. This is my first year at Pelham and I am looking
forward to teaching and becoming a part of the community.
To motivate and increase student interest in science by integrating the
latest technologies and educational strategies including lab activities and
group work.
To foster leadership, ownership and citizenship in all students by allowing
students responsibilities and creating a sense of community within the classroom.
