My name is Mr. Coutu and I love Art! Besides teaching art, I also enjoy
weight lifting, home remodeling, landscaping, nature, and my Victory Vegas
motorcycle.
My wife Chanda and I live in Pelham, NH with our 4 year old daughter Maylee.
We have two spoiled dogs, my Sheltie Lukis, and a
Shitzu-Collie mix named Isabelle.
I have been in the home improvement profession most of my life and am now
on my eighth year as Pelham Memorial School's art teacher and love it. I
find my job very full-filling and learn from my students everyday.
It is my goal to introduce students to a wide variety of art mediums
and help develop creative problem solving skills needed when approaching
problems.
It is also important to me each student finds some type of project/ art
process they will enjoy during their duration which will help students create
and express themselves through the use of visual art.
Students will also be introduced to famous artworks and gain a better
understanding of how art is used to communicate thoughts and feelings.
