Greetings! Welcome to this page. I have been teaching at Plainfield School
since the start of this century when I finished a short stint of high school
Spanish instruction at my own alma mater, Concord High School. I realized in
just months that my heart really belonged with younger students, and was
fortunate that my dream to work with this age group came true so soon. There
are few NH schools that offer elementary Spanish! Plainfield has been a
really great fit for me. During my undergraduate years I studied in Ecuador
for a semester at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Quito. My degree in
Spanish and Social Science is from Keene State College, and my post-BA teacher
training is from the Vermont College of Norwich University. Aside from my stay
in the Andes, I have come to know Spain through lots of reading and a
month-long visit there. I hope to visit Puerto Rico in the next few years, and
would love to spend time in Cuba, Mexico and Uruguay, the home of my former
teaching intern. I have a short commute to school, but live out of town with
my husband and two sons.
