You will usually have math and spelling homework Monday through Thursday
nights. You may also have homework in other subjects such as Science, S.S.,
etc. Any unfinished classwork will also be considered homework unless Mrs.
Chase specifically say it's not.
Math homework will consist of Everyday Math assignments as well as other
tasks which may include learning math addition and subtraction facts,
beginning multiplication facts, etc.
Spelling Homework will mainly consist of learning and practicing your
spelling words each night to prepare for our weekly spelling test. As the
year progresses you will be assigned additional spelling homework.
I would also like you to read for at least 15 minutes 5 times a week. You
can keep track of your reading on your monthly reading calendar.
Other homework will be on an as assigned basis.
**All homework is due the morning after it is assigned. This also includes
unfinished classwork. Any unfinished, forgotten (as in "I forgot my homework
on the kitchen table"), or misplaced work will be completed or redone during
your recess. NO EXCUSES!**
