Homework will always be meaningful and related to
what we are learning in class. Each day, the students will write down their
homework in their homework notebook. I ask that you sign their notebook so
that you are aware of what is due as well as any upcoming tests and/or
quizzes.
I try to keep the nightly assignments as
consistent as possible...
Monday: Students will receive their
'Reading Log.' They are required to read at least 15 minutes a night and keep
a log of their reading. It is not necessary to have your child bring the log
to school each day. I will collect them on Friday morning. Please have your
child fill out his/her own reading log. On Thursday night, please sign your
child's log.
Tuesday: Reading Skills
Wednesday: Math Skills
Thursday: Students should focus on
memorizing math facts and studying their WWW. Their completed Reading Log is
due on Friday.
