Students write their own Personal Missions Statements. This helps them focus their purpose at the beginning of the school year, to be responsible for the person they are becoming. 
Samples: 
"Spirit of the Living God, fall fresh on me this school year. Mold me into a person who can help, and make the seventh grade community thrive with trust and love. Give me the courage to reveal my Christian values and beliefs." 
 
"Help me to grow in faith and always trust in you while doing my best to help anyone who is in need. Lead me to a strong education to do your will and guide me to respect our Catholic values and beliefs.Spirit of the Living God, fall fresh on me throughout 7th grade. Help me to excel in my schoolwork and to be responsible for myself and others. Provide me with the strength to be a good Christian and to help one another." Students lead Mass "Taking part in mass as a leader is a good way to support my personal mission statement- to be the best I can as a Christian." 
 
" Serving mass as an altar server helps me be more confident." "After every mass I feel closer to God, but even closer when I help lead the mass." Students create Memory Books Our scrapbook project allows students to preserve memories of activities that show them at their best- leading mass, leading fundraisers, helping friends and family. 
 Students join Tic Tac ~ Together in Christ, Taking a Challenge Tic Tac is the campus ministry group of St. Patrick School for students in grades 4-8. Members sponsor community service activities and fundraisers.
