To begin the formation of good study habits in both the spelling and
definitions of words our program includes spending 2 weeks on the same 10
words. The first week is for the learning of the correct spelling of 10
words, along with using the words correctly in sentences.A spelling test
will be on Friday of that week. The second week is spent learning the
definitions of the 10 words along with synonyms and antonyms. Students will
make study cards including the words and their definitions/synonyms and
antonyms to be used to prepare for the test. A definition
test will be the Friday of the second week.
At-home studying is required of all students.
