Welcome to TRHS PTSA's Website

PTSA doesn't stop being important just because our kids are past elementary school.

Teens still benefit from parent involvement.

When Parents & Teachers work together - our students do better and our school improves.

Our Mission

Encourage communication between parents and school.

Strengthen connections between students, parents, teachers and the community.

Develop Programs that promote education and the well being of our teens.

General meeting notes for Oct 20, 2009 PTSA Meeting

We had a great Coffee with the Principal on Oct 13 in the High School Library. We covered several topics with Mr Woodworth and the Curriculum Coordinators- from the SAT to the Core Compentencies and touching on class rankings along the way! We were able to see how teachers currently manage their classrooms and how it ties to the core concepts that the students are required to know and how it eventually potentially will be used by colleges to weigh the students rankings for assessment purposes. The Administration kindly answered our questions and stayed later for more one on one discussion. Please contact Kate Delfino at aaptalady@yahoo.com to suggest topics for upcoming Coffee with the Principles. We also have upcoming workshops in November and December that promise to be very informative. Keep your eye on this page or twitter for upcoming schedules.
