I have been working at Golden Brook School for 9 years in several different
capacities including substitute teacher, special education paraprofessional,
2nd grade teacher's aide, and second grade teacher. I received my masters
degree in Elementary Education from Rivier College. My husband and I live in
Windham with our three sons. Jonathan is in his Sophomore year at Plymouth
State University, Casey is a Freshman at University of New Hampshire,
College of Engineering and Christopher is a Junior at Salem High School.
All three boys attended Golden Brook School.
We have a Yellow Labrador dog named Nugget. She is two years old and full
of energy. We have two cats named Mr. T and Duke. They play together
constantly. It is a full house!
I enjoy boating in the summer with my family and skiing together in the
winter. I also love to read and garden. I will be sharing all of my
interests with you in our classroom this year. It's going to be a great
year!
My mission is to empower children to believe in themselves and to strive to
be the best they can be within the classroom community. In the classroom,
students are met with warmth and smiles, routines and predictability. I
hold students to a high standard and expect them to work together in a manor
which is always respectful to their classmates and adults. Academic and
social progress, great and small, is celebrated. It is my hope and dream
that all my students become fluent readers who soar academically and
socially and build confidence towards the next step in academics and success
in life.
