Hello!
I was born and grew up in Medford,Ma.
I have a degree in Early Childhood from Salem State College and I
also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum Theory and Integration of the Arts
Into the Curriculum from Lesley University.
My great family and I moved to Derry, NH eleven years ago! I have a great
husband
and I am the proud mom of three wonderful daughters, Alyssa, Jillienne, and
Krysta. Their ages are 19,16,and 14. My oldest will start her sophomore
year
of college this fall! It has been very emotional and exciting! We also have
many pets
that keep us
busy-2 dogs, 3 birds, 2 guinea pigs, and lots of fish! I love animals and the
outdoors!
This is my 8th year at Golden Brook. I have been teaching for 19 years!
I love to dance and sing and everyone who knows me will tell you that I am
a "fanilow" ! Yes, I love Barry Manilow! I like rock and roll too!
I love to paint, knit,hike, snowshoe, and be outdoors! I collect birdhouses,
hearts and I have a furry collection of Vermont Teddy Bears thanks to my
family! I am a huge RED SOX fan!
I love working at Golden Brook and I love teaching first grade! My "First
Grade Family" gets bigger every year! :)WELCOME TO MY FIRST GRADE FAMILY!
My goal is to instill a belief of confidence in each child that enters my
classroom! I believe in establishing a "family" community where each member
respects and cares for each other. I take pride in each of my students
feeling comfortable, safe and eager to take chances and try! When students
feel that they are important in their community- they can learn and enjoy
their first grade experience! :)
