Denise Scairpon has been teaching within the district preschool disabilities
class for the past 21 years. She received her Masters in the area of
Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University and she
is a certified Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant. Mrs. Scarpon has
received many grants and awards throughout the years for her innovative
programs for preschool youngsters. In 2001, the New Jersey State Department
of Education recognized her classroom as a Best Practice Program. Mrs.
Scairpon is a consultant for the New Jersey Department of Education and the
New Jersey Education Association. Mrs. Scairpon can't think of anything
more rewarding than teaching at the preschool level.
