Objective: Students will learn-
Newton’s Laws of Motion and the principle of propulsion.
Aeronautics & Rocketry
Students will work in engineering teams to complete four activities or
projects that will lead them in learning the basic terms and concepts of
model rocket flight and investigate how fuel sources and structural design
affect model flight.
Activity: Rocket Flight Simulation, Design of model and Construction of model
Rocket
Materials: NASA Rockets Simulation, NASA Engine Simulation, Inventor Program
and Model Rocket
Assessment:
The unit will be assessed based on rubrics ,Teacher Project Review, Student
Review, Teacher Conference & Student Presentations.
