Hello BPJXXIII Academy Grades 3,4 and 5 Math Parents.
Please work on the following concepts at home with your children:
Grade 3 - Times Tables, subtracting across zeros, elapsed time, basic linear measurements and dividing 3 digit numbers by one digit divisors.
Grade 4 - Dividing smaller numbers by larger numbers. The result will be a decimal. Remember, the number on the left goes inside the division box. EX: 9 / 87 has the 9 inside the box. Add a decimal point after the 9 and add 3 zeros. Then divide after bringing up the decimal point into the quotient, directly above the point below.
Grade 5 - Add, subtract, multiply and divide integers. Your children should be able to recreate a scenario for all the operations.
