First Grade Supply List

�	a book bag (no wheels)
�	Four folders with bottom pockets: 
 2 RED colored folders labeled HOMEWORK
 1 Blue colored folder labeled MATH
 1 folder of your child�s choice labeled CLASSWORK
(pockets should be on the bottom not the sides)
�	2 glue stick and 1 Elmer�s glue
�	an old sock (to be used as an eraser for slates)
�	an extra large shirt or smock for Art, no plastic       
�	a box of 24 crayons (if possible place in small box)
�	A 36 pack of #2 pencils sharpened 
�	1 soft cover composition book second grade ruled
�	scissors  
�	colored pencils and pencil sharpener that holds shavings
�	a case to hold pencils, glue, sharpener, etc�
�	4- gallon sized Hefty zipper plastic bags (for Math supplies 
        and Reading books)
�	an M&M Minis plastic container, large ones if possible (to 
        hold money for Math)
�	3 different colored hi-liters
