Forgot your social studies book? Don't worry, help is here. :) Go to this
site to locate it and read s summary of the lesson. In September 2006 they
took off the text (it use to have every word from the lesson to read) but
the
site still has a summary of the lesson. There are fun fill in the blank
activities to test your comprehension too. It is the publishers main site.
So check other areas on it out too. To find the social studies book for
second grade, click on the social studies link on the left. Then click on
our book--We All Live Together.

Great free site for children to learn how to read. Children can use the
mouse to click on words and if the speakers are on the word will be read
and/or sounded out. For readers go to the readers section and read plays.
The program will read a part (in a play) aloud. There are many games to
practice vowel sounds (patterns) and other skills. This site is one of my
personal favorites for my son who is 5 and for children I have worked with
up
to age 8. Please take the time to check it out.
