WRITER'S NOTEBOOK:
Writer's Notebooks are not due this week. We will be finishing with Poetry
Notebooks.
AUTOBIOGRAPHY:
We have started publishing this week, so please look for some photographs
for publishing. Any photographs that are not used will be returned. The
ones that are included in the publishing are glued into the final books.
SAVE THE DATE: June 2nd is the Autobiography Celebration.
5A - celebrates at 10:00 - 11:00
5B - celebrates at 2:00 - 3:00
READER'S NOTEBOOKS:
These notebooks will be collected the week of May 19th. We will be writing
responses during class.
READING LOGS:
Reading logs were distributed on Friday, May 9th. Students are responsible
for weekend reading, 60 minutes and then 20 minutes for each night of the
week. If students forget to bring home their reading logs, they may write
their thinking on white lined paper and bring that to school. That may be
stapled to the reading log.
Repair Shop:
Repair Shop is being reviewed during Writer's Workshop.
Research:
Students completed Research rough drafts for their Famous Americans. Final
drafts will be typed in school starting this week.
