Week of June 2, 2008
This week we continue with Chapter 7: Challenge & Growth. We completed
Lessons 1 and 2, A Divided Country and New Jersey and the Civil War. We are
also extending the lesson for the Civil War with several literature pieces.
Last week,we completed Harriet Tubman, An American Hero, Just A Few Words Mr
Lincoln, and Pink and Say. For each piece of literature the students
continue to share facts as a group and the information is recorded on the
Smartboard for students to review and write in his/her notebooks.
