My name is Mrs. Payette and welcome to my web page. This is my fifth year
here at Bowne Munro and I am very excited to be teaching third grade again
this year.
I have been teaching in East Brunswick since 1987. Before taking over a
third grade classroom in 2003, I had been teaching Special Education in the
district. I've taught children in grades K-4 for several years, as well as
grades 10, 11 and 12. I've taught in self-contained classrooms, resource
centers and in-class-support settings. So as you can see, my experience is
varied.
In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mom. Therefore, I am sensitive
to the concerns that you may have as parents. I have a son who will be
entering Freehold Boro High School as a freshman, and a daughter who will be
entering her senior year at Howell High School in Monmouth County.
As a parent, I know that my involvement dictates my childrens'success;
whether it is checking their homework, asking about their day, returning
forms on time, etc. Therefore, I am counting on all of you to support
your children in all that they do this year so that they can be as
successful as possible.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
My mission for the class is for them to give 100% of themselves, 100% of the
time.
