PTA NewsOn behalf of the Bowne-Munro PTA, I would like to welcome you to the 2009-2010 school year! The Bowne-Munro School PTA is an active organization with tremendous parent and teacher/staff participation. Our PTA provides services that enhance our children's everyday educational experience and strives to give parents a more direct voice in what happens in our school. Some of the enrichment programs we offer include: Literature, Music, Dance and Theater through our Cultural Arts Programs, Book Fairs, Theater Week, Financial Support for school programs, such as Fright Night, International/Community Night, Field Day, Ice Cream Social and the Fifth Grade Eagle River Trip just to name a few. These events and services cannot be provided without your help and support.
Everyone is welcome to join the Bowne-Munro PTA! Our meetings are held in the Bowne-Munro media center, where we discuss concerns, ideas and upcoming events. The success of our PTA is dependent upon people who are enthusiastic about volunteering at our school. We have many committees which are active at different times of the year and require various levels of commitment. We try to be as flexible as possible and appreciate any help you can give. Please remember what we do is for our children! Together we can make a difference! Get involved, become a voice for children and an advocate for public education.
