How does the PTA help our school?

The PTA provides Bowne-Munro with the rescources needed to 
sponsor programs such as Fright Night, Winter Carnival, 5th Grade 
Moving Up, FieldDay, Craft Morning, classroom holiday parties, 
and many other events.  The PTA also financially supports The 
Holiday Shop, School Store, The Bowne Beat, and Book Fairs.  The 
PTA also purchases annual school gifts such as the playground, 
digital cameras, a new school sign for the front lawn and 
microphones for the Drama Club.

How can I join the PTA?

Forms to join the Bowne-Munro PTA can be downloaded from the 
"Download PTA Forms" page of this website.  The cost is $6.00 for 
One Parent/Guardian/Teacher/Staff and $12.00 for Two 
Parents/Guardians.  Return the completed form with the fee in an 
evelope marked PTA Membership.

When and where are the PTA meetings?

Monthly PTA meetings are listed on the Calender Web Page.  They 
are also printed in the Board of Education Annual Calendar.  
Meetings are usually held in the school library.
