We are very excited to be finishing up our unit on Personal Narrative. The
students worked extremely hard on writing and editing their rough drafts.
Each of them was able to publish a personal narrative and make an
accompanying illustration. We will be celebrating our published pieces by
having a writing celebration in our classrooms.
We will continue our knowledge of writing stories as we head into our unit on
writing realistic fiction. The student’s knowledge of their characters in
their realistic fiction books, we are reading in class will help them to
create their own detailed characters in their stories.
