About The Teacher

I have been teaching Gifted and Talented students in East 
Brunswick since January 2005 and I am thrilled to be back this year.  I have 
my Teachers Certification in Elementary Education and Middle School Math 
from Rider University and a Masters Degree in Business from New York 
University. Prior to teaching, I worked for 18 years in the corporate world 
primarily focusing on customer service and training.

I have two children.  A son named Eric and a daughter named Nicole.  During 
my free time, I love to read and spend time with my family and friends.

Mission for the students

I believe the best gift I can give students is to help them love learning. As
a life long learner I am constantly reading and attending classes to 
improve my knowledge and skill set.  Together students and I can embark on a 
journey filled with the wonders of learning.  I am dedicated to helping 
every student feel good about learning.

My vision is to guide highly capable students to greater accomplishments in 
learning, while supporting their growth as caring people. Our programs focus 
on developing higher level thinking skills and teaching students to become 
creative problem solvers. 

We in the GATE department are continually striving to find new opportunities 
for our students to grow as highly capable individuals.
