About The Teacher Label:
About The Teacher
The school health office is open every school day between 9:00am and 3:30pm. I may be teaching or with a student if you call and are unable to reach me. Please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. If it is an emergency, please call the school's main office at (732)613-6820 and they will contact me right away. It is a privilege to serve the Central School community in the capacity as a school nurse. Some of my responsibilities include health services such as vision and hearing screening, first aid, and medical procedures that are required during school. I also teach certain aspects of the health curriculum pertaining to Family Life. I serve as a resource for pertinent medical and health information to teachers in regard to their students and their own safety. Maintaining a healthy, safe and conducive learning environment is always a goal of utmost importance. I will be happy to answer and listen to any of your questions or concerns regarding your child's health and well being.
Mission Label:

My mission as a school nurse is to identify, prevent, remove, minimize or manage challenges or barriers to educating our students. In addition to nursing interventions, my plans of care will include promoting the education, health and well-being of our students.
