You will have homework every night except Fridays and holidays.
The Math Home Link workbook needs to come back to class everyday.(Keep the
pages intact)The homework will be assigned nightly in it.Also return the
Word Work notebook ,Writers Notebook daily and student Math reference
book.We will work in them, and from them almost everyday.
Please have your child read at least 15 minutes at night-Your child has a
monthly reading log in their home folder-They should be recording their
reading progress on it-It will be graded monthly.Also have your child bring
their independent reading book in everyday.
Your child will be responding, via a letter format, in their readers
notebook to me about their independent reading. This too will be
graded.Please check the reader's notebook for the grading rubric.Send in the
reader's notebook daily.I will let them know the topic and what week they
will be due.
Please check your child's agenda and home folder everyday for the daily
assignments and important notices.
There will be study guides provided for most exams.
