¿Qué pasa en la clase de Español el 28 de mayo hasta el primero de junio?
Book 1a Students will continue to practice using food and restaurant vocabulary coupled with stem-changing verbs. They will watch this chapter’s Telehistoria Completa, which will wrap up Enrique and Maribel’s adventures in Madrid. Students will review content from previous chapters then relax while they watch the outtakes from the series.
Book 1b Students will tackle the final grammar point of the year – demonstrative adjectives, which indicate the location of a person or thing in relation to the speaker. There are only three groups of such adjectives in English (this/these, that/those – close and that/those-far), but in Spanish, becasue adjectives must agree in gender and number with the nouns they describe, there are many variations! The Telehistoria storyline will conclude this week, and students will FINALLY learn the fate of Trini Salgado’s camiseta….
