Thank you to everyone who was able to come on our trip to the park last week, and to those of you who organized the activities for “Fun and Games” on Friday afternoon! The kids had a wonderful time!
We have completed our letters of the week, and will spend the next 3 weeks reviewing letter writing, sound identification, and word building. Our dictionaries and alphabet artwork will be coming home this week, so be sure to check backpacks for these exciting projects.
On Thursday, CDS will welcome newly accepted students for the 2012-2013 school year into our classrooms. This will give the new and current students the opportunity to get to know each other before the summer begins. As always, our class is very excited to welcome new friends and build new friendships!
If you have not sent in a white shirt for the CDS Olympics, please send one in as soon as possible so the students can paint them this week.
Reminder – library books are due back on Thursday.
