a valuable resource option for those parents interested in gaining further
information on specific child, family and parenting issues. Please stop by
and take any information that you might find helpful.

UPCOMING...
During the Months of January and February, the students of Chittick will be
doing a lesson on diversity. To participate in the lesson, each student has
two options - they need to bring in a photo OR draw a picture / write words
on one side of a 3"x5" notecard which I have provided for them. The photos
OR notecards need to articulate how the student feels they are diverse,
special, unique or valuable. It could be about their culture, their
ethnicity, their hobby, their family, an area of mastery, etc. From there -
I will come into the class and each student will come to the front of the
class and present to the class what they feel makes them diverse, unique,
special, etc. and then the diversity photo or notecard will be attached to a
large "class" puzzle piece which I will provide at the lesson. Once the
whole class has done this the puzzle piece will go into the lobby where we
will build our diversity display week by week with the theme "What makes us
different is what brings us together, Chittick celebrates diversity."
